, California (February 3, 2022) – Two LAPD officers were among three people who were injured in a traffic collision in South LA on Thursday morning, according to authorities.

A police cruiser collided with a red vehicle near W. Florence Avenue and Vermont Avenue as the officers were responding to a robbery incident.

The wreck happened at around 5:19 a.m.

The cruiser came to a rest after partially crashing into a fence.

Authorities reported that the police cruiser had its lights and siren on at the time of the collision.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and provided aid to the two officers and a civilian in the red vehicle.

The three were then taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the collision is underway.
