Two Killed in Yuba County Train Accident on Highway 65 and Dairy Road

Yuba County, California (August 22, 2022) – Two men were killed when a train collided with a vehicle in Yuba County on Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened near Highway 65 and Dairy Road at about 1 p.m. on August 21.
According to the CHP, a black Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on a private roadway when it attempted to cross the railroad and was struck by a train.
The two men in the pickup died in the accident.
One of the men was identified as a 39-year-old Sacramento resident.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The CHP is investigating the collision.
