Victorville, CA – Two drivers were seriously injured after two vehicles collided head-on in Victorville Monday morning.
The major collision occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on July 21, 2025, near the intersection of La Mesa Road and Del Gado Road.
Authorities said a white Chevrolet Traverse and a black Chevy Tahoe were involved in the crash. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage in the wreck.
Investigators said a 55-year-old woman was driving the Traverse eastbound through the intersection on a green light. The Tahoe was heading westbound when, for some reason, it struck a curb and veered into the eastbound lane, where it collided head-on with the Traverse.
The driver of the Traverse was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated by firefighters from the Victorville Fire Department before she was taken by ground ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center.
Police said the drive of the Tahoe, a male, sustained serious head injuries and was flown to Antelope Valley Hospital.
