6 Injured in San Francisco Crash at Lombard and Fillmore Streets

San Francisco, California (June 21, 2022) – Two people were critically injured after a Muni bus crash that happened on Saturday morning in San Francisco, according to a local news report.
The accident occurred a while after 11:00 a.m. at Lombard and Fillmore Streets.
As per the report, witnesses said that an SUV was driving at a high rate of speed before it crashed into a bus. Following the impact, the SUV crashed into another vehicle.
Additionally, a male pedestrian said the bus drove through the intersection just after the lights turned green when the speeding SUV hit it. The impact caused the bus to spin around.
Two persons suffered severe injuries and were in critical condition following the accident. Two others sustained moderate injuries, while the others suffered minor wounds. Responding medical personnel transported the six persons to the hospital.
Officials said that a suspect driver had been detained following the incident.
