Eloy, Ariz. – Authorities have released the identities of two victims among those killed in a hot air balloon crash near Sunshine Boulevard in Eloy Sunday morning.
Chayton Wiescholek, 28, of Union City, Michigan, and Kaitlynn Bartom, 28, of Andrews, Indiana were killed in a crash at around 7:50 a.m. in the desert area near Sunshine Boulevard and Hanna Road.

Eloy, Ariz – Four people died, and another was critically hurt in a hot air balloon crash that happened Sunday morning in Eloy, about 65 miles southeast of Phoenix, the Eloy Police Department said.
Authorities said the balloon came down around 7:50 a.m. in the desert area near Sunshine Boulevard and Hanna Road.
Eloy police said eight skydivers and five other people had boarded the balloon earlier in the morning.
It appeared the skydivers had planned to jump to the Eloy Municipal Airport. Police said the skydivers exited without incident, but, moments later, the balloon crashed.
Four people died in the crash, and one other sustained critical injuries.
Eloy police, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating the accident.
