Olympia, WA. – Two pedestrians died after being struck by a car in Olympia on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police, the accident happened around 5 p.m. in the area of Fifth Avenue and Simmons Street.
A car and a truck collided in the area in unclear circumstances. The impact sent the truck off the roadway, where it struck two adult women on the sidewalk.
Both women died at the scene.
