3 Children Injured in San Diego Crash at Skyline Drive and Woodman Street

San Diego, California (July 3, 2022) – Four people including three children were injured in a car crash in the Skyline area of San Diego on Sunday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 6:50 p.m. at Skyline Drive and Woodman Street.

A 70-year-old man was driving a 2019 Ford F250 east on Skyline Drive and was making a right turn onto Woodman when he was rear-ended by a 2001 Honda driven by a 25-year-old man.

The children — a pair of 3-year-olds and a 4-year-old—were inside the Honda and were hospitalized with major injuries.

Officials say the children were not properly fastened in when the crash happened

The driver of the Ford pickup was hospitalized with a neck injury.

The condition of the Honda driver was not disclosed.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
