3 Hurt in Westminster Car Accident near Beach Boulevard and Hazard Avenue
Westminster, California (August 9, 2022) – Three persons were hospitalized following a car accident on Saturday night in Westminster, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, August 6, near the Beach Boulevard and Hazard Avenue intersection.
Per the report, a Lexus and a Kia crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The Kia driver was pinned in their car and was extricated by the crew.
Three persons in total suffered injuries due to the collision. The three patients were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately released.
Officials closed the intersection as a result of the car accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
