A gray Jeep, a semi-truck, and a white utility truck were involved in the collision on the southbound side of the freeway

Brentwood, CA.- Three people were injured in a rear-end collision in Brentwood early Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at around 2:15 a.m. July 2, on the San Diego (405) Freeway near the Getty Center off-ramp.
A gray Jeep, a semi-truck, and a white utility truck were involved in the collision on the southbound side of the freeway.
At least two of the vehicles are believed to have been involved in a rear-end crash.
A 53-year-old man was taken to a hospital with a severe leg injury.
A 34-year-old man and a 59-year-old man were also transported with serious injuries.
At least three southbound lanes of the freeway were shut down following the incident.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
