3, Including Minor Injured in Head-On Crash on SR 503 in Clark County

Clark County, Ore. – 55-year-old Salvador V. Gutierrez and 18-year-old Elizabeth Gutierrez alongside a minor were injured in a head-on collision in Clark County Saturday night.

According to a police report, the wreck happened on the southbound State Route 503 just after 9:20 p.m. on January 27.

Reports indicated that a 28-year-old Thomas P. Chirokov was driving southbound on Highway 503 when he veered into the northbound lane and crashed head-on with second car with four people inside.

The impact caused a rear-end crash with a northbound vehicle.

Salvador, Elizabeth, and a minor were hospitalized with injuries.

Chirokov was arrested and charged for vehicular assault and eluding. Police believed alcohol was played a role in the collision.

More details regarding the collision was not provided.

An investigation is underway.
