3 Injured in San Bruno Caltrain Accident near Scott Street

San Bruno, California (March 10, 2022) – Three people were injured in a fiery collision involving a Caltrain on Thursday morning in San Bruno.
The incident happened on the busy San Francisco Peninsula commuter rail line near Scott Street, at around 10:38 a.m.
A Caltrain engine slammed into a construction vehicle, ripping it in half and igniting its fuel tank into a massive fireball.
The driver of the vehicle and two Caltrain workers in the operator's compartment were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital.
All passengers aboard the train were unhurt.
