1 Hurt in San Luis Obispo Car Crash on Highway 1 near Kansas Avenue
San Luis Obispo, California (October 2, 2021) – Three people were transported to the hospital after being injured in a San Luis Obispo car crash on Friday morning.
The accident happened on Highway 1 near Kansas Avenue at about 5:47 a.m. October 1, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Toyota Corolla was traveling on the roadway when it rear-ended a truck for unknown reasons. The car was stuck underneath the trailer after the collision and parties had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Three people were transported to an area hospital for treatment in unknown conditions.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
A CHP investigation into the accident is ongoing.
