3 Injured in Car Crash at Eucalyptus St and First Ave in Hesperia

, California (August 17, 2022) – Three people were injured in a Tuesday afternoon crash that happened at an intersection in Hesperia, as per a local news source.

The accident was reported at around 1:40 p.m. at Eucalyptus Street and First Avenue.

Firefighters responded to the scene and found a black Toyota Corolla and a black Honda Accord involved in the collision.

The Corolla ended up in a yard of a home after destroying a chain link fence and several wooden railroad posts that were buried in the ground. The Honda was blocking the driveway of a home after the collision and also damaged the chain link fence.

A woman in the Corolla was trapped, and firefighters used tools to extricate her. The report said due to her injuries, she was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.

The male driver of the Honda sustained a visible injury to his ankle, and his female passenger sustained minor injuries. Both parties were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash is under investigation by the Hesperia Police Department.
