3 Hurt in Federal Way Accident on Pacific Highway South

Federal Way, Wash. – Three people were injured in a crash between two vehicles in Federal Way early Sunday morning, according to the Federal Way Police Department.

The wreck took place on Pacific Highway South and Dash Point Road at about 12:45 a.m.

A car was traveling southbound on Pacific Highway South when it collided with a northbound SUV that was making a westbound turn onto Dash Point Road.

A passenger in the southbound car, a woman in her 20s, was taken to a hospital with severe injuries.

The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver was suspected of DUI and was arrested for vehicular assault.

The SUV driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The accident is under investigation.
