Two vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the highway near the Jensen Avenue off-ramp

Fresno, Calif. – Three people were injured in a car collision that happened Friday night on a highway in Fresno, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP officers were notified about the collision around 11:40 p.m. on southbound Highway 99, just north of the Jensen Avenue off-ramp.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found three people with minor injuries. The victims were offered medical aid, but it was unclear if they were hospitalized.
Police said at least one of the drivers was intoxicated but did not give extra details.
Three traffic lanes were closed during the investigation. All lanes were back open by 12:48 a.m. Saturday.
