Both drivers and a passenger in the westbound car were seriously injured and were airlifted to a hospital

Nevada County, CA. – Three people were airlifted after being injured in a car accident in Grass Valley on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 20 near Rex Reservoir Road.
A vehicle was traveling eastbound when it drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an oncoming car.
Both drivers and a passenger in the westbound car were seriously injured and were airlifted to a hospital in Placer County for treatment.
