Hemet, CA. – Three people were hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Friday afternoon in Hemet.
The 1:59 p.m. collision happened in the area of Acacia Avenue and Lake Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
Firefighters had to extricate at least one person who was trapped in the wreckage.

Authorities say three people were transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
