WSP said a 38-year-old Puyallup man was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-405 when he collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a Bellevue driver

Renton, WA – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Renton early Sunday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wrong-way crash took place on I-405 near NE 30th Street at about 4:30 a.m.
WSP said a 38-year-old Puyallup man was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-405 when he collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a Bellevue driver.
The q driver then crashed into a vehicle driven by a 40-year-old Leavenworth driver.
Two vehicles ! flames following the collision.
The wrong-way driver and a 68-year-old woman from Bellevue, were taken to Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue with minor injuries.
The Leavenworth driver was injured but waswas not taken to the hospital.
The roadway was blocked for over two hours as authorities investigated the wreck.
The accident is under investigation.
