Perris, CA. – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday evening in Perris.
The accident happened around 4:12 p.m. on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway near Highway 74, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Six vehicles were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision caused one car to overturn and face the wrong way in traffic.
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews who responded to the incident found the occupant of the overturned car trapped and needing extrication.
Three people were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
