3 Injured in Fresno Car Crash at Chestnut Avenue and South Avenue
Fresno, California (October 12, 2021) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision near Fowler in Fresno County on Tuesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at the intersection on Chestnut and South Avenues at about 6 a.m.
The CHP established that a gray vehicle was westbound on South Avenue when the driver allegedly failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into a white car.
The impact caused the gray car to flip onto its side and one person inside suffered major injuries.
Two people inside the white car were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The authorities have ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the collision.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
