San Francisco, Calif. – Three people were killed and one other person was injured in a two-car accident on Thursday morning in San Francisco.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 4: 15 a.m. on the 80 Freeway near Treasure Island.
CHP says a Mini Cooper had stopped on the Bay Bridge for undetermined reasons when it was rear-ended by a pickup truck.

The pickup driver was also taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
The collision resulted in the closure of three eastbound lanes of the freeway for several hours.
