Isleton, CA. – Three people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident that happened Monday morning in Isleton, Sacramento County, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities received reports of the crash around 6:18 a.m. on eastbound State Route 12, just west of Jackson Slough Road.
A white Lexus sedan, a black Chevrolet Traverse, and a black Hyundai Tucson were involved in the collision.
CHP said the vehicles collided head-on, and one car was left facing down in a ditch. The Chevrolet was blocking both traffic lanes.
Three people sustained minor injuries in the accident. The patients were hospitalized for their injuries. One of them was taken to Kaiser Permanente Antioch Medical Center.
SR-12 near Jackson Slough Road was closed in both directions following the accident.
