Man Killed in San Rafael Accident on Second and A Streets

, Calif. – A 36-year-old man was killed in an auto- accident on Saturday evening in San Rafael, according to the San Rafael Police Department.

The accident took place on Second and A streets just after 7:55 p.m. January 13.

Police said the man was struck by a vehicle in the area and was found unresponsive at the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the incident.

The accident is under investigation.
