Woman Killed in Carmichael Car Crash at Walnut Avenue and Kinross Road
Carmichael, California (December 30, 2021) – A woman was killed in a head-on collision that occurred in Carmichael on Wednesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred near Walnut Avenue and Kinross Road at around 5:30 p.m. December 29.
Authorities said a Kia drifted into the path of oncoming traffic, for unknown reasons, and collided head-on with a Ford.
The driver of the Kia, a 38-year-old Carmichael woman, died following the crash.

The second driver and three children in the kia were taken to a hospital and were reportedly in stable condition.
According to the CHP, DUI is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
