4 Injured in Windsor Car Crash on River Road near Olivet Road
Windsor, California (March 4, 2022) – Four people were injured in a traffic collision involving a Sonoma County Transit bus on Friday morning.
The accident happened at around 6:18 a.m. on River Road east of Olivet Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Chevrolet Suburban had been stopped in the eastbound lane of River Road and was attempting to make a left turn into a driveway when it collided with a Subaru Outback.
The impact of the collision sent the Subaru into the westbound lane where it was struck by a Sonoma County Transit bus.
The bus then rolled down an embankment where it overturned onto its side.
The bus had only one occupant who was transported to the hospital.
Two occupants of the Subaru and one occupant of the Suburban were also hospitalized.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
