, California (August 14, 2022) – Four people were injured after an ambulance accident that happened late Friday night in the Del Paso Park neighborhood in Sacramento.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at about 11:45 p.m. on August 12, in the 4200 block of Boulevard.

Per the dispatch, an ambulance and a car crashed for reasons yet to be determined near the on-ramp to the Capital City Freeway and . The ambulance was reportedly ferrying a patient to the hospital at the time.

Fire officials and medics arrived at the crash site to aid four persons injured in the accident. Two of the patients sustained non-life threatening injuries. All four victims were taken to the hospital. The injured parties were the ambulance patient, the car driver, and two ENT's.
