4 Injured in Antioch Transit Bus Accident at Delta Fair Blvd and Century Blvd
Contra Costa, California (September 6, 2022) – Four people were injured in a head-on collision involving a transit bus in Antioch, Contra Costa, on Monday evening.
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and the California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Delta Fair and Century boulevards.
Authorities stated that a vehicle collided head-on with a Tri Delta Transit bus in unclear circumstances. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage in the accident.
4 Hospitalized after Contra Costa Transit Bus Accident
A total of four people, including a minor, were injured in the accident and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The CHP and the Antioch Police Department are investigating the cause of the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
