Multiple vehicles reportedly collided in the area under unclear circumstances

Phoenix, AZ.- Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in west Phoenix on Thursday afternoon, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
The crash was reported at around 3 p.m. July 24, near 31st and Northern avenues.

A man and a woman were transported with critical injuries.
A third patient was transported to the hospital and was said to be in stable condition.
A fourth patient declined to be transported to the hospital.
One of the injured patients had to be extricated by firefighters.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
