Two people were taken into custody on suspicion of DUI

San Diego, CA. – At least four people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened early Friday morning in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on southbound State Route 163, just north of Interstate 805, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident, were, not immediately established.
CHP reports that four people were killed in the accident. Two of the victims were ejected from the vehicles after the collision.
Two people were taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
