Temecula, CA. – Four people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday evening at an intersection in Temecula.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the collision occurred around 7:05 p.m. at Butterfield Stage Road and Channel Street.
Several vehicles collided, trapping at least one person in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victim.
Two people sustained serious injuries, and two others suffered moderate injuries. The victims were hospitalized in unknown condition.
Three other people were evaluated at the scene and declined further treatment.
Investigators are collecting more information to determine the cause of the collision.
