3 Juveniles, 2 Adults Injured in Rosamond Crash on Sierra Highway near Dawn Road Off-Ramp
Rosamond, California (July 11, 2022) – Five people, including three juveniles, were hospitalized after a Rosamond crash that happened Sunday morning on Sierra Highway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred at about 10:04 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway about a half-mile south of the Dawn Road off-ramp.
CHP said a 4-door Dodge pickup truck collided head-on with a Honda sedan for unknown reasons. The pickup overturned onto its side, and the sedan was blocking the roadway.
One of the cars was occupied by children.
As per the report, emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported three juveniles and two adults to Antelope Valley Hospital with unspecified injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
