5 Hospitalized after Highway 118 Car Accident near Balboa Boulevard in Granada Hills
Los Angeles, California (October 11, 2021) – At least five people were hospitalized after being injured in a multi-vehicle rollover collision in Granada Hills early Sunday morning, October 10.
The 2:57 a.m. crash happened on Highway 118 near Balboa Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident found a van that had flipped onto its side and a sedan that had overturned onto its roof on the freeway. A Dodge Charger that had major front-end damage was also stopped at the scene of the accident. A fourth vehicle of unknown make and model was possibly involved in the accident.

The CHP said four people were transported to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center and another was transported to Northridge Hospital Medical Center for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
