Gilbert, Ariz. – Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Gilbert on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Gilbert Police Department, the incident took place on Germann and Higley roads.
Multiple vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision that caused the intersection to be closed for hours.
Five people were transported to to hospital and one of the patients had serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
