Five Hurt in El Cajon Crash on Highway 67 and Interstate 8
El Cajon, California (June 13, 2022) – A crash involving multiple vehicles injured several people in El Cajon on Sunday, according to a local news source.
At least four vehicles were involved in the collision on Highway 67 and Interstate 8
A semi-truck was traveling westbound on Interstate 8 when it failed to slow down for traffic that had stopped at the intersection.
The truck collided with three cars and stopped nearly a quarter mile from the site of the crash.
Five people were seriously injured in the crash and were all transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating to find out what led up to the collision.
