Two Adults, Three Children Injured in Antioch Crash on Manzanita Way and Sycamore Drive
Antioch, California (September 17, 2022) – Several people were injured in a collision in Antioch on Friday afternoon, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
The incident happened at Manzanita Way and Sycamore Drive shortly before 3 p.m. on September 16.
According to the report, a red Chevy Impala attempted to pass a tan Mercury sedan illegally and ended up colliding with it.
The tan Mercury sedan was sent tinto three children who were stopped at the intersection.
Emergency crews responded and transported the children and two adults to area hospitals.
There was no update on the condition of the hospitalized parties.
At least one of the patients was transported by helicopter.
No further details were not immediately released.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
