Phoenix, Ariz. – A 50-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning after being hit by a car while riding his motorcycle in north Phoenix, police said.
The accident happened at about 11 a.m. on March 5 near Cave Creek and Greenway roads, Responding officers located a motorcycle rider, identified as 50-year-old Bradley Reith, with serious injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the car was going south on Cave Creek Road when it turned left onto Greenway Road and struck Reith's motorcycle. Reith was traveling northbound when he was hit by the car.
Reith sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to Phoenix police.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
