The CHP said the man was driving a Chevrolet SUV when he failed to stop for a stop sign and entered the path of a commercial semi-truck traveling westbound on Kamm Avenue

Fresno County, CA – A 53-year-old man was killed in a collision involving a big rig in Fresno County on Monday afternoon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on Kamm and Jameson Avenues at about 1:20 p.m. June 17.
The CHP said the man was driving a Chevrolet SUV when he failed to stop for a stop sign and entered the path of a commercial semi-truck traveling westbound on Kamm Avenue.
The big rig slammed into the right side of the Chevrolet and rolled onto its side following the collision.
The driver of the Chevrolet died at the scene.
The other driver, a 70-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries.
CHP said alcohol and drugs do not appear to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
