Six people were hospitalized after multiple vehicles collided on 5 Freeway near Esperanza Street in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, Calif. – At least six people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday night in Boyle Heights.
The accident happened on the northbound 5 Freeway near Esperanza Street at around 11:50 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
At least six vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
