7 Hospitalized after Porterville Crash on Road 208 and Avenue 112
Porterville, California (August 25, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning traffic accident that injured five people in Porterville.
The crash occurred at about 5:45 a.m. on Road 208, just south of Avenue 112.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver 2006 Ford Fusion collided with another vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
Seven people were injured in the accident. Six people were transported by ground ambulances and one person with major injuries by air ambulance to Kaweah Health Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation.

Porterville, California (August 25, 2022) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after a Thursday morning car crash in Porterville, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The two-vehicle collision was reported at about 5:45 a.m. on Road 208, just south of Avenue 112.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a Ford Expedition and another car involved in the crash, blocking traffic lanes.
One person who sustained major injuries in the accident was taken to Kaweah Delta Hospital for treatment.
The cause and manner of the collision were not immediately determined, but authorities are investigating.
