Bakersfield, CA.– A child was hit and injured by a vehicle in central Bakersfield on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Bakersfield Fire Department.
The incident took place on Bank Street and Holtby Road at about 1:45 p.m. October 16.
According to the report, an 8-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle near Roosevelt Elementary.
The child was rushed to Kern Medical with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Bakersfield Police Department.
