Elderly Woman Killed, 2 Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Crash at Tulare Avenue and Cherry Street in Tulare
Tulare, California (December 4, 2021) – An elderly woman was killed and two other people were injured Saturday morning in a traffic collision involving two vehicles in Tulare, police said.
The deadly two-vehicle crash occurred at around 11:20 a.m. at the intersection of Tulare Avenue and Cherry Street.
According to the police, a grey Infiniti sedan was heading westbound on Tulare Avenue when, for unknown reasons, the Infiniti slammed into the passenger's side of a red Toyota sedan.
2-Vehicle Collision in Tulare Kills 1, Injures 2
An 82-year-old woman, who was riding in the rear passenger seat of the Toyota, was transported to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The Toyota driver and front passenger were also taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available.
The driver and passengers of the Infiniti were uninjured.
