Koreatown, CA.- A 9-year-old boy was hit and killed by a recreational vehicle on Thursday evening in Koreatown, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The incident was reported at about 7:25 p.m. July 31, in the 300 block of South New Hampshire Avenue West of Vermont Avenue.
According to the authorities, the boy and a 19-year-old male were riding on scooters when they were hit by the RV.
The victims were rushed to a hospital, where the 9-year-old was pronounced deceased.
The teenager was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
