Boy Injured in Mountain View Bike Accident on Webster Avenue

Mountain View, California (August 22, 2022) – A boy riding a bicycle suffered major injuries when he collided with a vehicle in Mountain View Sunday afternoon, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The wreck happened at around 3:10 p.m. on August 21, in the 3500 block of Webster Avenue.
According to the report, a 9-year-old boy exited an alley and entered the roadway, where he collided with a 2021 Nissan Sentra driven by a 27-year-old woman.
The boy suffered a concussion, a laceration to his face, and several fractures.
Authorities said the boy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
DUI is not suspected to have played a role in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
