, California (May 31, 2022) – The man who was killed in a collision that occurred on Sunday night in County has been identified as Aaron Price, 38, of , according to the Sacramento County Coroner's Office.

Authorities believe Price was under the influence when he swerved into the path of oncoming traffic on Highway 160 near Sherman Island.

His car collided head-on with a second vehicle.

Price was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed in the accident.

Three children in the car were hospitalized with major injuries. One of the children was airlifted to Children's Hospital in Oakland.

A second child was transported to Children's Hospital in Oakland.

Two other patients were taken to John Muir Medical Center in .

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
