Abraham Espindola Dies after Crashing ATV into Parked Dump Trailer on Hutton Road in Nipomo

Nipomo, California (July 19, 2022) – 42-year-old Abraham Espindola died when he veered off the roadway on his ATV and crashed into a parked dump trailer in Nipomo, as per a local news source.
The crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Friday on Hutton Road, near Cuyama Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Santa Maria man was riding a red 2010 Polaris quad southbound on Hutton in cool but smoky conditions when he veered in the southeasterly direction off the roadway and into the dirt shoulder.
The ATV struck a parked metal dump trailer, ejecting Espindola. The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and sustained a major head injury.
Emergency crews transported Espindola to Marian Regional Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
