Acton, California (December 1, 2021) –One person was injured following a possible head-on collision Wednesday morning in Acton, the California Highway Patrol said.

The two-vehicle collision happened on the Valley , just south of Canyon Road off-ramp, at approximately 5:05 a.m.

The CHP did not immediately establish how the collision occurred on the northbound side of the 14 Freeway.

 A male party riding in a gray, 4-door Toyota was found unconscious and non-responsive by the County Fire Department on the side of the highway. 

It was not mentioned whether there were other people injured in the collision.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
