Adelaido Lopez Arrested after Deadly Concord Bicycle Accident on Clayton Road at Galindo Street
Concord, California (March 4, 2022) – Adelaido Antonio Lopez, 28, of Concord has been arrested after a crash that left a teenage bicyclist dead in Concord last month, according to authorities.
Jose Grande Castillo, 16, of Concord died following the collision that took place in the area of Clayton Road and Galindo Street at about 3:30 p.m. February 26.
Authorities said Castillo was riding a bike when he was hit in a collision involving a tree trimming truck and several other cars.

Castillo was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
Four other involved parties were treated at the scene.
Authorities said Wednesday that Lopez was one of the motorists and was arrested following the collision. He was booked into the county jail on vehicular manslaughter charges.
The crash is under investigation.
