Police suspect that Menera was impaired at the time of the accident and was arrested on suspicion of DUI

Fresno, CA. – 43-year-old Adeline Ramos has been identified as the woman who died in a head-on collision that occurred early Thursday morning in Fresno.
The fatal collision was reported around 12:15 a.m. in the area of Highway 180 and Cornelia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
21-year-old Amadeo Menera was driving a vehicle on the roadway when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Nissan.
Ramos was a passenger in the Nissan and was transported to an area hospital where she later died.
Menera and the driver of the Nissan were hospitalized with major injuries.
Police suspect that Menera was impaired at the time of the accident and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
