Adrian Llamas-Navarro Killed in Fontana Car Accident on Interstate 10 near Sierra Avenue
Fontana, California (July 25, 2022) – Adrian Llamas-Navarro, 25, has been identified as the man who died in a collision that happened Sunday night on Interstate 10 in Fontana.
The crash occurred at about 11:50 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Sierra Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Pomona man was walking within the lanes of traffic after being in a prior solo crash at Sierra Avenue when he was struck by a speeding Buick that was traveling westbound on I-10.
The collision sparked a third crash when a third vehicle crashed into the first two wrecked cars.
Adrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the San Bernardino County Coroner's Office.
The driver of the Buick party was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked all lanes of westbound I-10. Traffic on westbound I-10 was being diverted off at Sierra Avenue.
