Alejandra Zavala Killed, Woman Seriously Injured in Car Crash on Highway 29 near Highway 121 in Napa

Napa, California (August 14, 2022) – 25-year-old Alejandra Zavala, of Vallejo, has been identified as the woman who died in a wrong-way crash on Saturday night in Napa.
The deadly multi-vehicle collision was reported at around 11:31 p.m. on Highway 29 near Highway 121, just north of George Butler Bridge.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, at least five vehicles were involved in the crash. One driver was traveling south in the northbound lanes of Highway 29 and struck four northbound vehicles.

Zavala was driving one of the cars and was killed in the accident, according to the Napa County Sheriff-Coroner's Office.
One of the passengers, a 60-year-old woman, was airlifted from the scene and transported to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Two other motorists and two passengers were taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center for treatment.
The other two drivers were unhurt.
